Resumen
El turismo de naturaleza es una oportunidad para que las comunidades identifiquen, valoren, difundan sus
atractivos derivados de la diversidad biológica y cultural asociada en el entorno. Esto buscando fortalecer
lazos entre: comunidad, naturaleza, ambiente y producción. En el mundo el turismo de naturaleza ha
crecido en forma acelerada especialmente hacia las regiones de Latinoamérica, donde los potenciales de
diversidad biológica, etnográfica, geológica y climática son mayores. Colombia no es ajena a esta situación
el último reporte del Ministerio de industria, comercio y turismo-MICT en 2015 reporto la dinámica actual;
de visitantes entre los años 2013 - 2014, aumentó en 14%, teniendo en cuenta que del total de los visitantes
el 69.5% llegan al país por vacaciones recreo y ocio, notándose que es un alto porcentaje de los visitantes
son preferiblemente europeos o norteamericanos. Sotará es un municipio con gran diversidad biológica,
climática y cultural , cuyo inventario reporto más de 130 atractivos de los cuales 25 pueden desde ya
considerarse producto para el público visitante, por su belleza, confort, facilidades de acceso y compromiso
de las comunidades receptoras, con esta propuesta lo que se hace es invitar a la Alcaldía, organizaciones
en especial a las mujeres pues este es un trabajo realizado ente Asociación de Mujeres Productoras de los
Cedros “ AMPROCED y UNICOMFACAUCA, para brindar una nueva oportunidad de organización a las
comunidades del municipio y con el fin de fortalecer y difundir los valores de la región

Abstract
Nature tourism is an opportunity for communities to identify, value, disseminate their attractions derived
from the biological and cultural diversity associated with the environment. This seeks to strengthen ties
between community, nature, environment and production. In the world, nature tourism has grown rapidly,
especially towards the regions of Latin America, where the potentials of biological, ethnographic,
geological and climatic diversity are greater. Colombia is no stranger to this situation the last report of the
Ministry of industry, commerce and tourism-MICT in 2015 reported the current dynamics; of visitors
between the years 2013 - 2014, increased by 14%, taking into account that of the total of visitors, 69.5%
arrive in the country for vacation, recreation and leisure, noting that a high percentage of visitors are
preferably European or North American. Sotara is a municipality with great biological, climatic and
cultural diversity, whose inventory reported more than 130 attractions of which 25 can already be
considered a product for the visiting public, for its beauty, comfort, accessibility and commitment of the
receiving communities, With this proposal, what is done is to invite the Mayor's Office, organizations
especially women, as this is a work done by Association of Women. Producers of the Cedars "AMPROCED
and UNICOMFACAUCA, to offer a new opportunity of organization to the communities of the municipality
and in order to strengthen and spread the values of the region.
