Abstract

Currently in the municipality of Pupiales- Nariño Colombia; there is a growing demand for cape gooseberry; exotic fruit that helps control diseases such as diabetes, hypertension among other common diseases due to its excellent nutritional properties, variety of vitamins and minerals, besides being a good anti-carcinogenic potential. It is important to emphasize that the fruit that was used is clearly organic and in the process of transformation of the fruit does not lose its nutritional components taking advantage of them in its entirety; Another justifiable reason for this project is the generation of employment taking into account that female labor of the municipality of Pupiales was used, providing economic stability to both the community and   the Municipality. We opted for dehydrated cape gooseberry because the process of dehydration allows to keep the fruit stored for a longer time, besides that through the transformation it does not lose its nutritional properties. The main objective of this research is to design a business plan for the production and commercialization of dehydrated cape gooseberry in the municipality   of Ipiales. The research methodology is based on a quantitative paradigm, of a descriptive type, with an empirical analytical approach and a deductive method. With this research, it is possible to contribute to the development of the agroindustrial sector through the production and marketing plant of dehydrated Uchuva since this allows to generate greater development not only in the municipality of Pupiales, but also in the department of Nariño, an aspect that is reflected in the GDP of the department as well as the nation’s GDP.
