Theoretical reflections on the evaluation of factors socioeconomic in dairy farms of Carchi, Ecuador

Abstract

The evaluation of socioeconomic factors in dairy farms in Carchi province will allow to know ¿how the producer is socially? ¿how is represented politically? their educational level, the generational replacement level, the ICT to use in productive activity and quality of life. In the first stage, this study seeks, through a theoretical review, to characterize the socioeconomic factors of milk producers, which facilitate the procedure elaboration for to evaluate the socioeconomic of livelihoods influence, as a tool for decision of permanence in the dairy activity and the migratory reduction its labor force. It will be necessary to obtain information from the participants about the income received, the dayto- day detail in their activities, the well-being of the family unit, evaluating the productivity indexes and happiness indexes, focused on determining if a happy producer will obtain a better production, with a proactive and transcendent sense, that contributes quality supplies to the productive chain long-term.
