The Scientific Journal Visión Empresarial is pleased to present Volume 16, Number 1, an edition that marks a milestone of institutional maturity in the completion of its first year of biannual publication. This editorial decision responds to the growth of scientific production in our disciplinary areas and the commitment of the Faculty of International Trade, Integration, Administration, and Business Economics of the Polytechnic State University of Carchi to consolidate a rigorous, dynamic academic space in line with international standards of scientific dissemination.
This new edition addresses the results achieved by our researchers at the regional level in terms of applied science, territorial integration, and innovation, which in turn drives a renewed editorial cycle toward new indexing in highly prestigious databases.
