Abstract

The article relates the use of technology in the teaching process through gamification, to promote social skills in children aged 3 to 4 years. Various observational studies were collected and a systematic review was carried out according to the search in databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, ERIC, Dialnet and Google Scholar, as well as professional scientific journals and relevant research references identified. In the documentary search, 1756 scientific articles were identified, of which 47 research works were defined, but only 15 articles were suitable according to the evaluation criteria. The results were favorable in terms of the creation of gamified learning spaces or environments to develop social skills in students aged 3 to 4 years, improving their social interaction with their environment. In conclusion, the vast majority of studies agreed that gamification was an effective tool as a teaching method and that it allowed for enhancing social skills in students, especially related to improving academic performance and strengthening comprehensive child development.
